We are looking for individuals (students are welcome) who can work night and weekend shifts in the capacity of Jr. Unix Systems Administrator. They should have a strong knowledge of different flavors of Unix as well as some of Windows administration. Knowledge and experience with DNS, mail, and Web servers recommended.

Responsibilities include:

checking and updating of client's trouble tickets through our online helpdesk system;
rebooting clients' servers and logging into console upon their request;
network troubleshooting;
DNS, Mail, and Web services install and troubleshooting

We are looking for an individual who is honest, punctual, and can get to our location quickly.

We are looking for an individual who will help NYI implement its vision using today's latest tools and technology. Job will include working together with other engineers and designers on day-to-day maintenance of New York Internet's website and other company's live projects that need immediate attention.

Qualified candidates must have experience in HTML, Javascript, CGI, SQL, PHP, and Perl.

Unix guru who wants to work and grow in an Internet Services and Data Center company.

The appropriate candidate should be proficient in Free BSD and Unix, experienced in technical support functions, have troubleshooting skills, and be able to identify, track, and solve problems in a time-critical dynamic environment. Leadership, service, and communication skills are required as well.
