  IS THERE A START UP FEE?

No, NYI doesn't charge any start up fee to initiate the service.

 DOES NYI'S PRICE INCLUDE SECURING THE LINE FROM THE TELCO?

No. All the ISDN fees include is a username and password to access the internet. You are responsible for getting the ISDN line provisioned from your local telephone company.

 WHAT'S NYI'S POLICY FOR SPAM?

NYI holds an anti-spam policy. That means that a service may be terminated as a result of several complaints about spamming from your server.

 HOW CAN I FIND OUT IF YOU PROVIDE DIAL-UP CONNECTION IN MY AREA?

Please go to our Number List to check if your area code is included.

 FOR ISDN CONNECTION, DO I NEED TO PROVIDE A SPECIAL ISDN MODEM?

Yes. An ISDN modem or router is needed in order to utilize our ISDN service. Furthermore, an ISDN line is needed from your local phone company. NYI simply provides a user account and phone number to dial into.

 HOW DO I TRANSFER THE DOMAIN NAME CURRENTLY HOSTED BY ANOTHER COMPANY TO YOUR SERVERS?

The domain name can be transferred to our name servers through your Registrar (i.e. Network Solutions or Register.com) and then pointed to your machine through our DNS that we will supply you with.

 WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME ON GETTING CONNECTED?

Immediately after sign up you will receive a confirmation email with your login name and password. 24 hours after that, you will receive a notification that your account is activated.
