Server Enclosures
The readiness and completeness of the installation of server cabinets at NYI's
Wall Street Facility is truly unprecedented. Rows and rows of pristine
enclosures will surely help you to attain 100% uptime over the course of your
service with NYI, as well as impress your clients. They currently total over
200 cabinets, and can be turned up in the same day as the order is placed.
These cabinets offer a wide range of compatibility, as they offer either
19" or 23" rackmount equipment, using either square or round holes.
Additionally, they are 36" deep, the deepest in widespread use in the
colocation industry, offering more cabinet space for your dollar, as well as
giving your systems more air flow and a better fit.
For security, they utilize solid steel walls, with the ability for larger
clients to use access panels to run wiring between cabinets. They also have a
steel bottom, unique combination locks, and offer anonymity in that other
visitors may not view the equipment or know who it belongs to. They are
seismicity braced, and have a multitude of ingress holes at the top.
The enclosures are fully-wired with 6 Ethernet drops, 30 amps of n+2 power from
the UPS and generator infrastructure and have fiber ingress points for high
speed connectivity to most providers. They can be quickly fitted for DC or 220
Volt AC power, in addition to many types of cross connects such as pots lines,
T1s, T3s, etc.
